Here’s a simple recipe for a delicious Apple Crumble:


  • 6-7 medium-sized apples
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • A pinch of salt


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Peel and chop the apples into small pieces. Place them in the greased baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add the chilled butter pieces and use your fingers to mix until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples in the baking dish.
  5. Bake the apple crumble in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are soft and bubbly.
